worldmage: Well at least THAT'S getting somewhere

I got an email from the federal student aid people informing me that my school updated my FAFSA information with the stuff from the extra forms they made me fill out. My EFC has jumped from $0 to $1007, but I'm still certain to be eligible for aid since the estimated cost of attendance is about $15,000. Most importantly, it means they've actually looked at my info and put it into a computer. Finally, PROGRESS!! I still don't have my award letter or anything, of course, so there's still no idea when I'll get aid. But at least now I know there's an end somewhere in sight.
